One part of a triptych of functional art boards inspired by microscopic images of the human body.
This board was inspired by a light microscope image of cardiac muscle tissue. It contracts and releases involuntarily and is responsible for keeping the heart pumping blood around the body.
Cell structures created with resin by Steven Hendon.
